Strangely, we were much more excited about seeing the ladder than the church. This ladder has been here since the 18th Century and cannot be moved without consent from all six ecumenical Christian orders. Can you imagine leaving your ladder on a building one day after work and have it end up as a permanent part of a Holy Site?
