"We arrived after a long drive, and a lovely fellow named Brook escorted us to our room. He was the owner apparently, and apologised for the refurbishments currently being undertaken at the motel. The TV was missing from our room (someone had taken it), and some a**hole had completely trashed the room a few along from ours which he was in the process of repairing. As a very generous gesture, he invited us to partake in a free pizza, cooked by him, in the takeaway onsite. That said, the room was very small with one side of the dbl bed against the wall. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided. We were very worried about our car in the carpark being vulnerable to any would-be criminals in the area, as the locked gate was broken. We needn't have been, it was perfectly safe. The area was questionable, but the hospitality shown to us was outstanding. Thankyou Brook for an interesting stay."
"They upgraded us to an air-condition tent and that probably makes my review better since it was 95° during the day. The Glam tents were great. The resort itself is nice. The restaurant is good, not great for food but the people are nice. Nice. There is a swimming pool that works. While we were there okay, half of the place was closed because of damage from typhoons. You were there at the very end of April, 2026. There weren't many places to hike so there wasn't that much to do.. The Pearl farm itself is interesting and they try to sell you their pearls and jewelry"
"I didn't stay despite booking and paying.
