The staff is very friendly and happy to help.. The accommodation is simple but clean. The kitchen is very basic in terms of equipment. It is very affordable and well located. All in all, simple, a bit dated, but clean and fair.

Location was perfect, Luma Luma just needs a refresh, staff were excellent from management through to cleaning staff, I used the pool daily, temperature was perfect this also needed a refresh. Very close to everything in the CBD.(walking distance), my dealings with the manager Phillip were nothing less than first class, he always went out of his way to ensure my upcoming stay was going to be smooth and accommodating. The lift at the appartment block is the fastest I’ve ever seen, regardless of whatever floor you were on the lift would be opening within seconds avoiding you standing in the heat.

Very affordable, well set out, loved the kitchenette, beds very comfortable, sheets & towels changed regularly, pool was lovely, cool & clean. Staff were friendly and tried to resolve issues. The laundry was very accessible and the machines worked well. Location was very central, but in a quiet part of town. Beautiful sunrises from the balcony. Parking was a bit tight, but good to have. Wifi had some issues. Overall a lovely stay. Thank you.

Comfortable and cool, good escape from the Darwin heat. Shower head didn't work properly, was very low and couldn't be adjusted. Overall a pleasant stay and one of the cheapest options.

Luma Luma is not new or modern, so is more affordable than more modern accommodation. It has parking and is in a convenient location, close to shops and dining. The rooms have a small kitchenette which is useful. Staff are helpful and accommodate people on flights arriving after midnight. It's also not far from the coach stop if you need to catch the Greyhound coach or other buses.

I was looking for an inexpensive place to sleep at night while I attended a conference during the day, so Luma Luma was great. I could prepare my own breakfast, room was clean and felt secure, staff were polite and efficient, swimming pool was very pleasant way to cool off, and I was glad I could open the door to the balcony which is often impossible these days when everyone is using air conditioning and afraid of being broken into. Thanks

Uncomfortable bed

Location was good and the room was well equipped but unfortunately the bed and pillows were the most uncomfortable that I have ever slept in. The sunrise from the balcony was amazing and it is close to town and well priced. If they would just get some comfortable beds or even put on some mattress toppers this hotel would be fantastic.
