I spent only one night (twice); my overview during the quick exhausted night was really short.
Yes, I recommend it if the stay is for a short period of time.
The smokers stay too close to the entrances/back doors. I noticed the laundry room looking unclean made me wonder about materials washed...
Believe it or not I would return again because of the price."

"We wanted to enjoy the amenities, specifically the pool but we didn’t. The water was cold. Also, we tried ordering food by the pool but the staff said they only take orders until 5:45pm, we got there at 5:50pm."

"They need to update the rooms. The bathroom needs to be painted and the door didnt lock. The ceiling looks like it will come down. There is chipped paint all over the property. The carpeting needs to be replaced. It looks like its been at least 30 or 40 years since the place has been renovated. The location is excellent and its near the water. Great views, but the property needs a major renovation and decorating."

"This was our third stay at Magnolia, the staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The stream is beautiful and they just opened a restaurant. The food was really good. My only complaint is a cleanliness. I would suggest that they do some quality control around the cleanliness because the lodge was not clean. The floor was extremely dirty. There was some hair in the top. I didn’t feel comfortable using the kitchen because it was not clean.. just something to focus on moving forward....

"I stayed here with the kids and they had a great time. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect, close to everything we needed. Definitely a great place for a family vacation."
