到着が深夜になる事を事前に連絡してあったのに到着すると表門が閉鎖されおり全く人気が無くて、立ち往生状態で、TAXI運転手が大声で怒鳴りドンドン表門を叩いてやっと従業員が出て来て中に入れた。 翌朝のデリー駅までのTAXIも事前に頼んでいたのですけど、わずか１０分程の距離で４５０Rsと滅茶苦茶高い。もう二度と使わない。 ホテル紹介サイトもちゃんとホテルを調べてから紹介するべきです。 場所も車が通らに路地にあって何をするにも非常に不便です。

Overpriced for literally sub standard facilities

I stayed there with my parents, and I was not at all satisfied with the services and facilities: 1. Hot running water- had to call up the room service twice, only to have it fixed not before 2 hours. there was no hot water in the wash basin faucets. 2. The staff (excluding the house keeping and restaurant) were not very hospitable. 3. I found the lighting of the washrooms to be a bit dingy. Positives: 1. Good location 2. Buffet breakfast was delicious 3. Decent wi-fi connection 4. Rooms are well sized

I enjoyed eating south Indian breakfast every day, and when I ordered room service for dinner the food was very good. Everyone working here was very friendly and helpful. Good location, walking distance to Connaught Place and a quick walk to the Barakhamba metro stop.

The hotel itself is kinf of OK. However, there's a bug problem of being too close to the train station. Trains horn and rock the whole building. It seems that there are no trains between midnight and 6AM, so night sleep is enabled. 5-7 minutes walk to Connaught Place.

Excellent Location. Nice Rooms and Service.

This is the ideal place to stay near Connaught Place and Railway Stations and Metro Stops. Much nicer location than Paharganj. Residential neighborhood next to 5 star Lalit Hotel is quiet and charming. Like you are not in Delhi, but all the transport you need anywhere. Great value.

Close to Connaught place

Hotel was in a good location (near metro station and shopping area). Hotel roomed bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was included however breakfast largely consisted of Indian food and did not particularly cater to the western palate. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Hotel was in a generally quiet are but the rooms are not sound proof and at times it felt like the windows were open.

One night stay in New delhi

This was the first time I was in India and it was a trip for attending in an exam. I was nervous about the hotel's environment and the noisy location of the exam and the hotel, which is near to exam centre. I was afriad not being able to sleep enough the night before the exam, but the hotel Emarald was a place I felt safe, in term of hotel staff who were very friendly and nice, the silence of my room, which I've asked for, and the breakfast . I recommend this hotel to my friends for short time stay.

Good for Delhi

Hotel Emarald is located near Connaught Place and the New Delhi Train Station. The room was very modern and clean, with a shower and toilet. You need to run the water for at least 10 minutes to get warm, but it will eventually be hot. It is about a 30-minute walk to the train station, and not an easy route to follow, so I would recommend taking a cab or autorickshaw. The location of the hotel is a little difficult to find at first, so you should tell your driver it is near World Trade Center or LaLit hotel. The staff were very helpful, but not overly friendly. Free breakfast is included with the room, although it is nothing to get excited about. What you should get excited about is that the wifi internet actually works, which we have found rare while traveling over seas.
