"Upon checking in there was only one staff member, my husband (age 85-disabled) was waiting in the car but needed me back quickly, the staff kept getting interrupted by the phone, I explained my urgency and she kept putting me off three times and ignoring my request to return my charge card and ID as I told her I could come back later after I resolved my husband’s problem. When she finally found a room it was on the third floor and there is no elevator. My husband can’t do stairs. Tried to ask her to cancel and I’d come back. She did not cancel; about two hours later I came back, new staff member now it’s after check in time but they were short cleaning staff so short wait on the room. Ok, room not handicap assist, in fact there is not even any handicap parking in that building. There was a thin blanket on the bed and I had to cover my husband with our coats. There are pieces of old stairs under the new steps. There is dog doo on the sidewalk walked in and tracked all over by someone, the coffee maker in our room was broken and no one responded to my notice to them it was broken. Breakfast was horrid and again not handicap accessible.; their rule is no food in the room. Powdered eggs and cardboard tasting sausage. Awful. The doors are incredibly heavy and a handicapped person could not go in or out without someone to hold the door. Totally horrible stay."
