Loved the property, its public spaces and its overall ambiance. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast there. In both cases, the food was flavorful and well presented and our servers were as good as they get. We would absolutely choose this hotel again.

We stayed here because of the on-site spa and we hadn’t stayed here before. The room was ok. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The spa was amazing. The on site restaurant that served breakfast was extremely slow. The ship tavern overcooked a lobster roll. The deal breaker was that there was a wedding reception there and due to the design of the hotel, the loud music from the reception echoed thru the atrium and the entire hotel until the music finished after 11 pm.

I love this classic old hotel. It's really beautiful and the restaurants and bars are amazing. The problem is I saw a little details that were being dropped. Like plugs not working in the hotel rooms like pieces missing from the bottom of the sink so you could see the pipes. Like the front desk staff underdressed.

The Brown Palace, of course, is an iconic and beautiful hotel. We have stayed there in the past and have enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately with this stay, the front desk staff and the house keeping was substandard. The Valet and restaurants/bar service were excellent and up to the standards I would expect in a hotel of this caliber.
