The the hotel we stayed out my phone got stolen and my meds and the room person was just about to get my ring before we left we will never go back to the same hotel it cost me $400 when we got home just to get a new phone

Needs updating

Run down room. Not many working lights. Bathroom faucet was broken. Furniture is beat up. Foot stool had a broken leg so when you sit down it tipped over. Check in was slow. Key card machine wasn’t working so we were manually let in our room and not given keys. We were attending a concert and told if we weren’t back by 1 no one would be there to give us a key for our room. We were given a very confusing map of area with parking spaces crossed out and told we would be towed if we parked in certain areas of the parking lot. Luckily we must have picked an ok spot and weren’t towed. Not worth the $.

I liked this property because it had a full kitchen and living area. The bathroom was big and had a vanity area which was nice to do my makeup. overall I loved this stay and will be coming back since I visit Iowa a lot.

Stay here, enjoy the fire! A+

We LOVED this hotel! We loved Mario at the front desk. We loved the kitchen with an oven! We especially loved the fireplace and got two logs for under $20 at the front desk. The swivel TV was so convenient for use at any angle of the suite. The bed was sooo comfortable. I only wish we’d stayed longer. Great value as well. We loved the Sterling!

Don’t stay here! Over priced and in terrible condi

The room that we had was extremely in poor condition. The door knob in the bathroom was hanging by screw. The woodwork was peeling. The Naugahyde covering on the bar chairs was peeling and in some spots had just come off and theChair in the living room was cracked. We didn’t want to touch anything.

We were told the property had just been renovated. If this is the case, it was done extremely cheaply. The lock on the door was loose and sloppy, the paint looked like white primer and the bathroom needs a re-do. Also, the parking lot had fallen trees/tree branches everywhere. There was a storm a week prior, but one would think a business would clean up the area that customers park. The staff was incredibly friendly! They were fantastic.

Great suite at an excellent rate

What an exceptional value. A, very clean king suite with a great bed, a sitting area with a fireplace and a kitchen with full frig, stove, etc and some dishes for a great price. We were worried the pictures were better than the the room would actually be but it way exceeded our expectations. The only negative was that no breakfast was available at least for now but we knew that when we made the reservations and a number of places are with blocks of the hotel.
