"Very impressed with this medium size hotel. Staff could not have done any better to make our stay enjoyable. Pool and just by the lake amazing for swimming. Breakfast great choice and good quality. Restaurant food fantastic! Will visit again if in the area."
"The location is beautiful and right in the centre of town. 20 minutes walk from the train station and 5 from the ferry terminals.
The balcony on our terrace had plenty room for the 2 of us to sit there and enjoy the view. Our room was comfortable although the shower cubicle on the small side. The room and hotel in general, although rather dated was spotlessly clean and well maintained throughout. The service from the breakfast team was superb as was the choice and quality of food on offer. Sitting outside on the sheltered terrace enjoying the view of the old harbour each morning is something that will be sorely missed by ourselves.
Unfortunately, there was one downside to our stay when we had an issue with something in the bathroom one evening.
The "no can do" attitude of one of the reception staff really let down our otherwise superb stay at this beautiful hotel and town."
"One of the best staff I ever deal with, Alexandra, Silvia, Andreas and I think Clava, they were all so helpful. Property is very well kept and the breakfast was great. the only thing missing is maybe a shuttle service from and to the train station, that would be perfect since taxi service and public transportation is unreliable "
"This is a lovely property right across the street from the lake and walkable to all of the restaurants and shops. Very convenient. Easy to access to the ferry and boat rides."
"You need to ask for a room with a/c, otherwise they assign without a/c. June, July is 80-85 degrees. Shower was clogged. Breakfast was good. Location was good."
