"We were very fortunate to finally stay at Eden Andalou for 12 nights Jun/Jul after having to cancel our holiday in 2023 due to the earthquake. The location of the hotel only 9.5km from airport is perfect and only 10.5km to the centre of Marrakesh. We booked through Hotels.com and booked our flights directly with EasyJet. We emailed the hotel regarding room allocation and airport transfer and in all instances they were very responsive resulting in a very efficient transfer from airport and two rooms allocated to us which were next immediately adjacent. The hotel itself is lovely and well laid out and in our opinion is not 5 star but would rate it 4 star due to the finish & some areas could def do with some refurb and the carpet outside our room was torn and tatty and not a gd look. Everything was always so clean and the bed & pillows were so comfortable although our son didn’t like the additional bed which he found uncomfortable but just a little tlc is required and things like no hand drier in the ladies and no towels to dry your hands was little things that have ob been overlooked. What makes it 5*+ for us is the staff, who in the majority go above and beyond to make sure that you are treated like royalty and they are so hard working, attentive, friendly, helpful and are a credit to company. "This is truly a little gem, a half hour drive from the centre of Marakech. Julia and her team have created a beautifully decorated, calm and relaxing space to lap up the sun. It’s rare to find such a relaxing space with a beautiful swimming pool. I was a little apprehensive spending five days here alone, without a car, but I needn’t have worried. Julia arranged transfers and Layla’s delicious authentic meals were just perfect. Julia is really attentive and sensitive to guests needs and is always on hand if required; her friendliness and hospitality was very much appreciated. Lovely bedding, great pillows and plenty of hot water (although not required in this heat) and air conditioning, all with great company, what more could you ask for! There is also the added bonus of having the dogs around. Julia always checks if this is ok and they can be relocated elsewhere if required. Personally they added to the experience and they were welcomed visitors. In short, if you are looking for an authentic place, where you are welcomed and you can relax and swim in beautiful surroundings, meeting great people then this is for you. Many thanks to Julia and her team, I still miss you all and hope to be back soon. Take special attention when Julia is explaining taps, as hot water is boiling, kids will need supervision to avoid scalding. This would be the same anywhere. "Staff are amazing and accommodative. Kasbah was as you’d expect and was very authentically Moroccan. Food is far more expensive than expected BUT it was some of the best we experienced during our trip. They also made sure everything was freshly prepared and would cook additional items they knew we liked. The staff member Hamid was a gentleman and gave us a great insight into the culture, people and food. He is a huge asset to the Kasbah. "
