"The gentleman at the front desk was very rude and dismissive. Soured the start of this trip. The room had bugs, ants and what looked like a cockroach. It was the older part of the resort, and it is getting cooler but to have ants and larger bugs was disconcerting. The pools are cleaned often but people left beer cans not only on the wall of the pool but fell into the pools as well. C'mon folks- we can do better. The bar to the restaurant in the new hotel part of the resort was great. Second...

"Property, room, staff, everything all top tier. 10/10 will be returning next time I visit."

"The rooms should be inspected before each new check in. I saw something under the bed and come to find out it was a dirty diaper. I would like to think that the room was sanitized."

"Nice scenic view"

"It was an OK stay here. There were bright lights right out the window. Air conditioner was noisy so opened the window and could hear the geese flying over."

"Clean comfortable bed for the night convenient to the highway."

"The property was very clean and had gorgeous views. We reserved the executive suite and had so much room to ourselves! It was great the pool and hot tub were so relaxing. We were wanting to have breakfast at the restaurant downstairs since there were so many tables open but we stood and waited for 15 minutes at the host podium and no one acknowledged us or let us know if there were any wait times for seating. So we left and decided to get breakfast in Durango instead. Other than that the stay...

"The lodge was difficult to find in the commercial area, even though I had the address, I couldn't see a sign for the lodge itself. I had to call the desk, give my location, and get directions to the lodge, which was close, but I couldn't tell which building. There was lots of parking space."

"Great place"

"Last Time I stayed there I pd $125 tax included yesterday I pd $200+ was NOT Happy but I pd anyway."

"Absolutely cute and simple place to stay. We will stay here again!"

"Great location and easy access to trails and food."

"Wonderful place to get away for a low key vacation. No TV in the tent so more time spent outside. Reading on the porch. Stargazing by the fire pit at night. Fishing in the pond."

"We loved our visit and can't wait to go back. Elizabeth is a wonderful hostess and could not be any nicer, she is a great asset! "

"The host was unfriendly and unwelcoming. We arrived at 9:30pm and were in communication about our arrival time, but when we arrived the host said she had to go to work early in the morning and made us feel bad for arriving at that time of night. They charged a $25 pet fee for our dog, which normally would be completely fine and understandable, and it was listed in the booking. However, the host’s dog (a very large German Shepherd) jumped on me, urinated on my car, and was off leash in the front...

"The cabin was beautiful! Had enough room and it was very clean. Very easy access to the lake. Communication with host was easy and fast. Will definitely stay again."

"I like how the check is set up with personal information to access the room"

"We loved everything about the stay! The owners were super super friendly and helpful. The cabin and grounds were clean. We killed a few spiders, one being a black widow. Spiders are expected everywhere. Just something for owners ro be aware of. We loved the fire pit, swings, games, grill access. Al around we give this place 5 stars!"
