"We had a great stay at lilac hideaway but the thing that stood out most are the way they stepped up to help guests with travel plans We rented a dud 4x4 and it would not start after we checked in - but Eli jumped in an d organized mechanics to come and then drove with us to take the car to the mechanics once they had gotten a new battery in. "The hotel was a short drive to Moshi, while being far enough away from hustle and bustle. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating- even going so far as to check I was well when I slept in after a long hike at Kilimanjaro. "Probably the highlight of our holiday. The camp is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The staff was so welcoming and the level of service was exceptional. Oh and the food is delicious! I can not recommend this place enough - our stay there was truly SO special. "
