"The hotel was a splendid surprise being a true manor in the style of a stately home with extensive grounds. We stayed in the Mews cottages which provided a large well equipped room and bathroom. "

"We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable. The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! "Very friendly reception staff. Extremely comfortable bed. Walls are a little thin, especially when there are little kids running around above, but that's hotels in general for you, earplugs are always on hand. Food was lovely, and plenty of gluten free options, even pie which is a very rare find. Not had time to try the spa. I'd stay again if I was in the area. "

"Ontvangst was zeer slecht, namelijk via een intercom. We werden snel rondgeleid door het huis, gezamenlijk met een ander bezoekend stel. Het huis heeft een gezamenlijk toilet, maar je hebt dan wel een eigen douche. Het bed was verschrikkelijk, het stond op wieltjes en reed steeds weg. Het ontbijt betrof self-service uit de gezamenlijke keuken met een toaster. Er stond wat yoghurt in de koelkast, maar het ook andere bezoekers hadden van alles hier staan, wat voor ons verwarrend was. Thee kon je...

"We stayied two nights at this hotel The room on the first nigth was 25 C The 2rd night it was 28.5 C So you could not sleep They have a good night garantie Asked at front desk They said to contact the guest relations Contacted them just to find out that first i did not book with them dirrect And that the room temp do not fall under the good night because this hotel does not have airco So what is the point of having a good night garantie "
