We chose Dolby Kato because of the colours, and location in Aswan after a Luxor to Aswan cruise, not realising how special the Nubian Village was in itself. Right from the start, the communication was excellent, including advice to make sure the taxi would make it all the way to the front door (which he did, despite being unsure). "This is a very nice hotel! The staff was incredibly helpful and allowed me to check in quite early. My room had a huge balcony and a great view of the city and the river. Special thanks to Guest Relations Manager Reham, who made transportation arrangements, gave me tips for walking around the city, and treated me like a king. Highly recommended!"

"The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet had a great selection. The hotel is located in New Aswan, a lot of the tour companies will not pick you up. However, the hotel offers a free shuttle to their sister hotel in Old Aswan for free. Overall, a really good experience. "

"The owner is very friendly and speaks perfect English. He arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and bring us to the hotel. The area in front of the hotel is beside the river. There was some construction happening on the the building that was a little inconvenient at the entrance, but the room was great! Cold air conditioning, comfortable beds ample sized room with beautiful view of the Nile and boats out the window."

"This property is located on top of a small hill in Aswan. The river view from the window is amazing. It’s a new resort which has been operated for three years. The facilities are new and clean. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the dinner at the pool side. It’s a pleasant memory with my patents. The only thing is that you will have to call a cab if you would like to have meals in Aswan downtown. "
