"This was our second year at the British Colonial and we will return again next year. Wonderfully remodeled a few years ago and impeccably maintained. The pool and beach area are superb. Many lounge chairs and patio umbrellas dot the pool and beach areas. The hotel rooms have all the modern conveniences and a feeling of old world charm and style.

"DO NOT ! The Wi-Fi does not work there and they are very big property so it should have worked especially for the price of the stay. They horrible the staff are ALL horrible. Do do not care about your needs all the service that they bring to you very unacceptable behavior. "We traveled to Atlantis the end of May. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, which is ideal for our family of 5. The waterpark keeps our kids entertained all day, and my younger 2 kids love the various activities (bingo, pool games, etc...). "Just getting to Freeport is a pain, NJ to MIA then to Freeport. Only a one hour layover on the way there (5hrs 43mins to get there). Getting back to NJ not so good. The return flights are terrible Left Freeport at 1:50 arrived in MIA at 2:40,
Had a 5 hour layover in MIA to get back to NJ. (9hrs 6 mins) plus a one hour delay Go to Nassau, bigger airport so you can get a direct flight there.
