"Fantasy island for real…the staff is attentive from the restaurant, the bar, the reception, the concierge to maintenance. They are all professionals. It is beautiful and they all ensure they say your name. Exactly what you want on an island getaway. And the trees sing beautifully."

"Room news spacious and very clean. Wonder staff and amazing food. The gym was great - modern and sufficient. The pool and the ocean views were the best part.

"Okay stay, beds are comfy but some stains on the bedding and the AC unit was so loud we didnt want to use it. Room bathroom could use updating and fixing things like shower heads and faucets being very old. The pool unfortunately is a lot more rundown than the pictures provided and felt slimy on the bottom?. The free breakfast was ok, cereal and toast and eggs/sausages/fruit with juice and coffees. The staff were nice, we only stayed 1 night as a stop before going to the airport. Was fine for...

"If you are looking for the big box hotels this is not the place for you..Bella Vista is quaint, relaxing, personable..nature at its best..beautiful family friendly resort..I enjoyed staying here for our anniversary..They even set up a private romantic dinner for us on our anniversary..we were super excited and surprised..I will not stay anywhere else on Ambergris caye i San Pedro..this is it ..I fell in love with all the staff..especially Linda our morning crew at breakfast and lunch..We will...
