"We were welcomed with big smiles and fresh complimentary juices. Our room was upgraded without additional fees. Good variety of breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mendis & Sudish who work at Breeze Restaurant. The hotel and surroundings are very neat, also easy access to the beach. Near to seafood restaurants. Excellent service throughout the stay. Totally recommend!"

"To reach the hotel you have to ride boat from main land to club bentota cause the reception next to the river its between the river and the sea .. The resort have tennis and many games its very big resort and awsome .. Value for money.. But i did not like the animals there many dogs and monica also squrriel .. I hate the gecko there are a lot of them .. Actually they should kill them very digusting and disturbing"

"The resort is the labor of love of Chamal the owner. 9 private and beautifully done villas set in the middle of nature. We had lunch and dinner everyday in the restaurant by the river. Loved the property, service was warm and friendly and seafood was superb. Great find!"

"I couldn't fill in the boxes above so out of 5 with 5 being top, overall it's a 4. Hotel staff 3 - some training needed there, although they did try to be helpful, hotel condition and facilities 4 though more sunbeds are needed. Room clean so 4, comfort I would say 3 as double bed was too small, mattress very soggy and uncomfortable, pillows lumpy. Everything else was fine and hotel is in a lovely spot with great views towards the hills to the north. The wildlife was a bonus - purple faced...

"This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. We all loved it. The staff, the grounds, the pool and the food were all excellent. "Essentially this is a serviced apartment and not a hotel or a resort. The rooms we were given was spacious with a sitting area, a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area, a large TV and a Desktop [ who needs a desktop on a holiday?] The toiletries consisted of a sliver of a soap for 3 people!!! The property was managed by the driver [acting as a manager], with no front office / front desk. No passport details were obtained from us! Breakfast was eggs, toast, juice and and seasonal fruit...
