"Very nice place."

"The room smelled of sewer gas. When I complained, staff came into my room to inspect, took towels out of the bathroom and didn’t leave replacements. The smell remained. The a/c sounded like it was on its last legs. Mold and swollen wood surrounded the shower. Hair and beard trimmings were in the sink upon arrival. Bathroom fan ran constantly and was loud."

"Book the room with my Malinois. We are Both have a happy stay ! Room is clean , ground floor . Stuff is friendly"

"Everything was ok except the loading and unloading area. It was rain and the hotel staff had parked under the awnings and blocked all the lanes. You had to load your luggage in pouring rain. When asked about it they said they would move in a little bit."

"Our waitress at breakfast was awesome! Friendly, professional and took my wife and I's order without writing it down and delivered it perfectly, including the dark toast!"

"I booked and paid for a room with a king-size bed, but instead they gave me a room with 2 double beds. The room itself was not clean. Furnitures had stains on them. Carpet was not clean as well."

"This place is a hidden gem! The room was incredibly clean and decorated in the cutest style! A coffee maker with pods and tea were provided as well as some small snacks and water in the fridge! I really liked that dishes and silverware were also provided in case we may have needed to reheat food. The AC was a little finicky it seemed but kept us cool and comfy the entire stay. Lots of good choices for food with in driving distance as well."

"I've stayed here a few times before when racing at Summit Point. Last time it was under renovation with closures of some parts of the hotel. This time the work was finished and it looks good!"

"This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

"Nothing to brag about"

"We enjoyed the schoolhouse very much as the kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook easy dinners and lunches. The location was great as we visited nearby Harper’s Ferry and Shepardstown’s Bavarian Inn (dinner). The farmland in the area was breathtaking as we enjoyed driving around at night. The schoolhouse was a special experience considering both of us are teachers. Great job on the decor!"
