"The moment you step into the hotel you get the feeling of being in a 5 star hotel. A warm welcome from the reception team who gave us an efficient yet friendly check in. The room was amazing very clean and certainly above what we expected. Tea and coffee, lots of towels, comfy bed, giant tv, plenty of pillows. All the staff were excellent and the breakfast was very good. Could not fault anything. "

The complimentary breakfast was excellent so much choice. We had 2 evenings meal at the inn and wasn’t disappointed with any of them. "This was a wonderful experience, very friendly staff who were always ready to help, offering glasses of chilled water in the spacious and well-furnished public rooms and alcohol in the evenings. We stayed in the large Shakespeare room, often used as a Bridal Suite. The spa is great, with a good sized pool, a jacuzzi and unusual sauna. Really good breakfasts served in bedrooms and at the nearby sister-hotel Milsoms. The fine dining at the main restaurant on the nearby River Stour was sublime,...
