"Poor signage to indicate location, lack of information about parking. Front doors broken. Additional bill items added at check in without warning, tax and £20 parking. Room smelled musty and dusty. Not surprising as windows don't open and no air conditioning. Weird carpet thing up one wall. Only one tea bag. Soap dispenser nailed to wall behind shower screen so tricky to access. Bath plug grimey. Mould around shower. Stains on carpet. On the plus side, the gentleman checking us in was friendly...

"The location is ideal – right in the city centre. Excellent breakfast. The hotel has its own large paid parking for £17 per day. The rooms are a bit dated. Outside, it was extremely hot during our trip. The room's built-in air conditioning, despite being set to the lowest possible setting (+18°C), was blowing hot air. The windows wouldn't open, making it impossible to sleep."

"Approximately 10 minutes drive to centre of Bristol and with good parking (£3.50 for 24 hours if staying). Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms are very clean and rooms are very large but the hotel could do with some tlc and looking very tired. Ideal however for a short stay"

"Lovely 2 night stay. Super Comfy bed which is a plus for those with a bad back or hip..slept so well. Spacious room even though we booked the smallest category. Wonderful rain shower. L'Occitane branded hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Quiet air con so was able to keep on all night without it being noisy. Window opens ever so slightly so lovely breeze comes in. We were there when the weather was +30 degrees celcuis. Great views of the Gorge and Clifton Bridge from the bar /pub...
