"We enjoyed our air conditioned room since the weather was over 90 degrees farenheit. The staff were friendly and nice. We had a quiet room. We chose the location because it is within 40 minutes of Addo elephant park, but road construction turned that into over an hour—not their fault. "

"Our stay was incredible. Desmond, our guide, gave us some incredible sights and we were really lucky to see 4 out of the big 5 alongside various other interesting animals. The reserve is vast and there is plenty to see, the fact that there are various lodges across the reserve means even if you have a fairly quiet hotel, there are plenty of rangers out doing drives which helps your chances of animals being spotted and your ranger making their way there. "A lovely 6 day stay at Main Lodge. My chalet was wonderful with fantastic views, even from the shower! Spotlessly clean. The restaurant buffets were good, plentiful food and choices. My guide was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable and the safari drives were for around 3 hours each, twice daily, lots of wildlife to be seen. "
