"This hotel in nothing more than several rotted out cabins on the hill. The site says a 2 star hotel, it is not a one star by anyone's measure. If you do not have a jeep 4 wheel drive do not attempt to drive down to the hotel. We booked this and went to the hotel. The area was closed, due to volcanic activity, but since we had a reservation the police let us pass. I started down the road, stopped and walked over 800 meters to the lodge. "Very comfortabe, eclectic ambiance and the staff is lovely! I stayed overnight to be close to the airport and it was perfect. Only an 8 minute taxi ride. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious (eggs with spinach, tomatoes & onion) & fresh. Lots of shopping and restaurants choices all in walking distance as well as a beautiful park in the town center a few blocks away. Great place to sit and feed the pigeons!
