"Alles sehr neu, der Pool war abgedeckt, wurde für mich geöffnet. Ich bin mehrere Bahnen im Pool geschwommen. Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war gut, man muß aber Zeit mitbringen. Der Wein ist zu teuer. "

Man hat uns ausnahmsweise nach viel überreden übernachten lassen, obwohl wir bei Expedia gebucht und bezahlt hatten, mußten wir nochmal bezahlen. "Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. Alles super sauber. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Alle Getränke auch tagsüber waren inklusiv."

The guides are very knowledgeable compared to some other camps we have visited and the trackers are outstanding. The walk with the Bushmen through the brush is truly a unique experience. We saw several species endemic to the Kalahari. The lodge coordinates with several charter services out of Maun making flight arrangements seamless. The food was to our liking, and the gemsbok kabobs served...

L'accueil a été parfait et toute l'équipe du Pelican Lodge and Camping s'est mobilisée pour nous aider dans notre galère. On y a passé un bon moment et cela nous à permis de rencontrer et discuter avec les guides locaux qui sont géniaux et nous ont vraiment aider. Le personnel...
