"A gorgeous, magical location. Note it is rustic. You will hear wind against the cabin walls, you will shower with a garden hose and use a composting toilet. If you can hang with that and can be fairly self-sufficient, you'll have an incredible time here. Sheets and towels are clean. Small basic kitchenette. Limited internet... "Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. "

Unfortunately, our stay coincided with an island wide power outage that lasted almost 3 days and the hotel, like many others, doesn't a backup generator system. The government run utility is known for unreliable service and I feel sorry for the businesses that rely on it. "

The balcony had lovely flowering plants nearby that were wonderfully fragrant which added a special feature to our morning coffee on the porch.
