"Hotel was in generally poor condition like entrance doors, stairwells which needed to be serviced, cleaned. They need carpet, paint etc. That being said, the room was fairly nice and the showers are awesome!, Bed was comfy. The cleaning staff never touched our room in the 5 days that we were there so no clean towels, full garbage cans and overflowing….Make your own bed etc. They have new owners and hopefully that will help. The pool was clean and usable and breakfast was sparse but adequate."

"Clean and neat. Very convenient and close to the highway. My only complaint is that the bathroom is tiny, and the shower was a little janky. The curtain rod was mounted too low and kind of loose, so the shower curtain was partly underfoot in the tub, and the rod stuck way out over the toilet. Other than that, everything was great."

"The staff were very kind. Breakfast was great. Our room was clean! This historical lodge the only one that is left in Michigan is charming and quaint. The fly fishing was great! We will be back!"

"I didn't have Verizon service and you do need to call to check in, that was my main problem. It was very clean and cute. WiFi in our room didn't work well."
