"Definitely not worth £500.. checkin reception, Lack of information given about hotel and room. Not guided and advised where exactly our so called.sweet was as different building to hotel. No toothpaste, showercaps or essentials which you get in average hotels now days. No stocked mini fridge.. sauna was not even hot enough even after hour. Checkin 3pm but out by 10.30am, when requested can we leave 11.30am reception said will be £30 you would think £500.for less then 24hours was enough. Don't...

Glenville House is well-situated between Windermere at the top of the hill where the railway station is and Bowness-on-Windermere at the bottom of the hill (where the lake is), each a half-mile away. The new owners were very helpful with tourist issues!"
