" We stayed at this amazing hotel for our wedding anniversary on the 1st of August for 2 nights. "Fabulous hotel in the middle of Ambleside. Staff were all amazing ... fantastic customer service from everyone we encountered. Room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very clean and quiet. Plenty of free parking available on site. Public areas were expansive, relaxing and once again very well presented. We really enjoyed our stay and are already planning a return trip for a longer period. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to all."

"Only stayed one night. Lovely quiet setting. The whole place has character. Staff were great and friendly, very accommodating. Beautiful views from the restaurant and bar of the gardens. Room was nice, tidy and clean although a little warm for my liking. Will be back for another stay soon! "
