"This is a very friendly, family owned business. As soon as we walked in, they made you feel like family. We spent 2 nights. And we were close to Bear Country, Reptile Gardens, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and so many scenic drives. Rooms were clean and the whole family loved the breakfast. We have a new place to stay when we come back!"

"Powder house was a cute little stay. The rooms are a little outdated but I like it as it adds to the cabin aesthetic. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the bathroom. The shower had very low pressure and the head itself was covered in hard water build up. The toilet had some marks in them, unsure what they were but wouldn’t go away with flushing and the complimentary shampoo and conditioner were a sweet gesture and I was able to request for some more as the ones that came with...

"The clerk at the front desk, Adam, was helpful. When we arrived in our room, we found a group of bugs, maybe 20 to 30 of them, gathered on the outside of the window but inside the outer screen. We let the front desk know. Adam came up within 5 minutes and sprayed for the bugs and was able to get rid of them. The breakfast in the morning is decent. One thing to be aware of the parking is a little tight and the spots in front of the building with yellow lines are for city employees."

WiFi is a little weak, and property seems a little dated, but good for what we needed. We will absolutely stay again when we are in the area."
