"A very nice condo-like place in the hills near Cavtat. This is a great place to arrive from or leave to the airport, and also a good spot to see Dubrovnik from (arrive by boat!). Caveat is a classic small tourist town, pretty harbour, lots of good food at various price levels, beaches, bars, etc and visitors from all over. Afaict, every apt has a nice deck to do with it. Very relaxing environment!"

"It was small but very clean and decorated nicely. It is really fun to stay right in the heart of the old city. We noticed that some similar apartments were located WAY up on the old streets, which would make coming and going very arduous. The only staircase involved at this property is the indoor staircase, so it was quite manageable for us. "

"We so enjoyed Leonarda’s apartment! Our hosts, Leonarda’s gracious parents, were so pleasant and helpful throughout our short day. But the most impressive aspect to this accommodation was the lovely tapas bar just across the quaint alley. It is difficult to find affordable and delicious, unique fare in Dubrovnik, and AlaMaka was an exceptional find, right outside our door! Such lovely people and next level hospitality! And SO delicious! Would definitely repeat this pleasant stay! :)"

"This lovely apartment is right in the historical part of Dubrovnik old town. It really had the atmosphere of "living in" a world heritage site. A short distant from the main street up some pretty steep steps. Adjacent to a wonderful narrow street lined with local restaurants and bars. I would certainly recommend with the caveat that you have to be mobile and fit enough to cope with the steep steps (if not Dubrovnik may not be the place for you anyway, there are steep steps almost everywhere!)...

"Tip top apartment in immaculate condition with stunning views. Everything we needed. Lovely helpful and friendly host. Good access for walking to nearby Lapad and bus access to Old Town Dubrovnik was just down the steps on the next street. We bought a Dubrovnik 7 day pass and this allowed us unlimited bus journeys as well as entry to a few attractions in the city. There were plenty of supermarkets and bakeries nearby if wanting to self cater as well as a variety of restaurants. All in all, a...
