"I wanted to stay here because of the unusual appearance of the hotel. I paid a bit extra for a balcony room which turned out to be in the 4th floor on the side of the building with a view of the harbour. The room was huge and spotless. I was out for meals so I didn't try the restaurant. There were several lifts but the one nearest my room was glass and was inside the glass triangle. Riding in it was an experience in itself!"

"Site was undergoing lots of renovations, lights in the room were broken, skirting boards were not dusted, and the noise and smell from the outdoors made it very hard to sleep. However the bed and washing facilities were okay."

"The staff & host was very helpful especially with getting us a taxi to the cruise ship. The hotel is in a good location to walk around. Room was spacious with a king bed & two chairs with a small fridge. You do pay for parking a car but had a lot of room. Good options for breakfast."

"Check in was a bit challenging. First person not as helpful but second person was excellent so depending on who you get breakfast was good with hot and cold. Room was basic but had noisy neighbours and thin walls. Room clean. Location was the greatest feature! Would stay again"

"Clean rooms, very central for the town. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Winchester. Breakfast was good and enjoyed the pool. Although please note children only allowed for 1 hour in the morning which was a bit of a disappointment."
