"Very nice, authentic hotel with beautiful garden and surroundings and beautiful beach. Bathroom condition was poor, there was no shower tray, just the blocked water drain that caused flooding of the bathroom floor. Room balcony was large and really nice and beds very comfortable apart from pillows that were too firm. Room and the bedding was clean. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful but food in the main restaurant wasn't edible so we had to eat sandwiches at the beech/pool bar because...

"Fantastic position with great views of the hills/monasteries. The staff were wonderful, they could not do enough to help. Not an identikit chain hotel. Good toiletries provided, comfy beds, good breakfast. We really liked it."
