Lovely location, very quiet in a small village. Cute little separate chalets, which have basically everything you need. Very friendly people, also in the village bar/restaurant, 2 mins walk. If you’re a runner it’s fantastic as lots of light gravel trails from the property. I would definitely return if in the area.

The place was very special but they need to change the lunch menu as we had the same food every day. Even some specials would be good. Wonderful stagmff and fabulously horse riding

Great location, lovely restoration of a beautiful building, loved everything about it!

We had a wonderful three nights in the mountain facing rooms. Added bonus of being able to watch the sun rise from the room. Friendly staff provided an excellent meal on the first evening. Breakfast choices were many and varied; we certainly set off each day well filled. The village itself was great for wandering around and the castle of course was the highlight. Slightly scared at first at the narrow entrance into the village in our hire car, but it's actually OK. Plenty of room. Parking...

The most amazing parador a 16 th century convent converted beautifully. Breakfast was tasteful and evening meal sublime . A lovely outdoor pool with sunbeds and deckchairs to relax Hotel parking accessed by car lift but secure, charge 18 euros day . Beautiful courtyard to admire the building and sip a drink . Right in the old town walkable to the river and plaza . Not much was open in the town in the evening so book the restaurant in the hotel .

Lovely room with a huge bed, excellent bathroom and great air conditioning. The bar staff, reception staff and general staff were all kind and helpful. We ate from the restaurant menu in the bar and the food was fantastic.

Adoramos o hotel. Limpo, boas instalações, staff muito simpático. Comida e bebida tudo bem confecionado. A repetir. A piscina exterior soube muito bem com os 40 graus sentidos nesse fim de semana.

We really enjoyed our stay here. From the initial welcome at reception to the excellent service at dinner and breakfast, all the staff were very welcoming. Food was excellent and car parking was secure. We will return.

I am an international art dealer working all over the world with Galleries in London and Paris. La Parra is exceptional the quality of the hotel is that of a five star hotel without the price tag. The food alone is worth the journey to get there as it is positively amazing. It is run by an all female staff who make one feel that one is staying with friends. We will go again for linger next year.

Traditional style hotel. Beautiful setting. Clean and great value deal. Room, 3 course dinner and breakfast. Would definitely recommend and we are very likely to return.

Ok for one night stay, as a solo cyclist it filled the distance between my next stop.

Loved Merida and location of this hotel on main square was charming. The building is of historic interest but well converted and has all mod cons. Excellent breakfast, charming helpful staff. Merida is well worth a two/ three day visit- the amphitheater, Trajan arch, forum etc all v impressive
