"Neat old hotel with lots of upgrades/updates. Remember that floor 4 is street level and floor 1 is river level. Easy check in/out and everyone was friendly. Food at Broken Keel was good, server had an off day and was a bit grouchy, but fine. Location was great. Trolly tour picks you up just down the street. "

"We like the large suites with private balcony on 2nd floor and ocean view. When we arrived we were directed to a standard room. We booked thru Expedia and thought we were getting a suite. We took all our luggage up to the room, but were unable to close the door. We told the front desk the problem with the door and requested a suite. We were able to get a suite by paying more."

"The staff was friendly and inviting. The hotel overall was clean and safe. Only thing I would say was a negative is that the valet was a little inconsistent; sometimes they would be there and sometimes they weren’t there. Two valets would solve the issue, but it was only a minor inconvenience."

"The room was nice and spacious. I like how it was decorated. I was very happy to be surrounded by forest. The food was mediocre, but the staff at the front desk was friendly. There were a few minor problems with cleaning and maintenance, but the front desk staff were understanding and wrote down all the information I gave them."

"The staff is nice, the room was clean & well maintained & perfectly adequate once you’re inside (though I wondered whether the rug was clean. But the hotel itself is run down, has seen better days, and the area is both sketchy and inconvenient. There’s little to do in the area, little food and few stores to walk to, and there’s a park across the street you might want to avoid. I didn’t have a car so I walked around a lot. I think they try to make it nice but there are a lot of drawbacks....
