Groningen is well worth a visit. the area around the Grote Markt buzzes with life and eating and drinking options are numerous. The centre is car free which makes getting around easy, but watch out for the bikes!!

Wonderful little town with big city options for dining and entertainment. Had a great few days, I'm from the USA and would recommend anyone from another country to go as the people were very nice and welcoming.

Beautiful, historic town. Pretty quiet despite the large university, I think they may have been on break while we were there.
