"This hotel is closed!! :( I had 3 nights reserved and when we got to the location, the hotel was for sale... and not open for guests. "

"We arrived late at night about midnight by taxi from the airport. Security guard and desk attendant attentive but, no bottled water available for room at hotel or near by. We had reservations but no towels or soap in room. security guard went down the street and bought us a bottle of water and returned with towels. We had called from USA to tell them our flight was coming in at midnight and was told there was no problem with that. Anytime was fine with them. The neighborhood was not somewhere...

"Mansion del Rio is like staying in a museum. We had a great time. It was close to Malecon 2000 as well as the revitalized Santa Ana area along the river. Staff were great, and the breakfast was very good."

"No hot water when needed other then that all was good, close to stores and restaurants"

"When you get to the Equator you will be greeted by cockroaches at some point. Sadly there was a small one on one of the beds. Otherwise, the place was clean and the breakfast was fantastic. For the price, I was happy. "
