"Resort is one hour drive from ferry terminal. Requested resort staff to help book for hotel pick-up and also for mangrove sunset and fireflies. Everything went well. Enjoyed the mangrove tour at Kawal River. Breakfast was overall good (chose 1 Western and 1 Asian to try, Asian wins). Service from staff was excellent, with a restaurant and a beach bar that plays music and movies at night, which can be quite loud if you are staying in the front row. Pillow case has some stains, if you're not fussy, it is ok. A nice place to relax by the beach. Beach is nicer when the tide is high. "

"This resort is an absolute gem! The staff are wonderful. This is the first hotel resort I have stayed in where the executive chef comes to your table to personally welcome you and to ask how everything is and if there's anything he can do for you. Johan was amazing and even brought us a cake to say thank you! Staff Members Putri and Jeni in the restaurant, and then Collin in the pool restaurant were marvellous. All the staff are a real credit to the resort! So hospitable. The resort is very clean, modern, great decor, and lush around to pool. We had an amazing stay and no one in our group of 5 wanted to leave! It's also very nice how the resort arrange your complimentary transport to and from the ferry. Even the staff at the reception and tour desks (I'm really sorry I didn't make a note of their names) were very friendly and helpful! "

"What an amazing slice of paradise! The hotel is less than a year old, stylishly appointed with friendly can-do staff. Totally unlike Bali - no crowds, no noise, pristine white sand. A shot hop by ferry from Singapore so you can mix the cosmopolitan bustle of Singapore with the laid back paradise that is Bintan Island. I give Hotel Indigo full marks for a beautiful experience! I’ll definitely be back!"
