When we arrived they had not recieved our booking from hotels.com and asked us to pay a fee for them to sort it out, which is just unreasonable. However they did upgrade us to a suite, which was nice. Service was not the best. They advertise the place as a spa resort, but the spa and its only staff member was unproffessional in my eyes. We complained but did not feel like the management...

"We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. It was our first experience at Sri Lanka. The location of Villa Tara at Hikkaduwa city is optimal - in jungle forest but in ten minutes from the beach also. Property is in fine condition and professionally managed. You will be provided with a top quality guest service.
