"Auf den ersten Blick ein Luxuriöses Hotel beim genaueren betrachten leider das komplette Gegenteil. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, überall sind Schimmelflecken auf der Tapete zu finden bzw. ist diese an diversen Stellen bereits kaputt. Der Fußboden ist abgenutzt und in den Ecken ist Schimmel zu finden. Die Fenster am Gang wurden gefühlt seit monaten nicht mehr geputzt und auch die Abflüsse weißen Schimmelspuren auf. "Rooms are small, half the size of other 5 star hotels. Bathroom is tiny, hardly any space. Hot water tends to run out after 10 minutes. Very unusual for a hotel of this reputation. "A beautiful boutique hotel that makes for a wonderful haven from the chaos on the streets. Beautiful rooms, restaurants, pool and facilities. Food at both restaurants great and the rooftop Japanese restaurant was magnificent. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others."

"This was the perfect place to stay for safaris to Yala National Park. We had a nice one bedroom cabin nestled in the woods. The staff was outstanding. Of course you need a security escort after dark. Which was easy. I called reception and security was at our cabin within minutes and escorted us to dinner and back to our cabin afterwards.
