"We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive. "This place was excellent! AC, beautiful pool, nice grounds with lots of different sitting/reading areas. Bed was comfy, rooms were simple and stylish, and the showers were hot. Absolutely no complaints. They packed us take away breakfast on two occasions for safari, but when we ate in on the last morning we had a HUGE breakfast with the best omelet, fresh fruit, pot of coffee/tea, and toast with lots of fixings!
