Prachovske skály (=rocks) are the most famous rock town in Czech republic. It was born as a sandstone sediment of a prehistoric ocean some 100 Milion years ago. It was formed by the water, wind, frost, rain and it created numerous rock towers which were in 1933 certified as a nature park reservation. It is situated ca. 100 km northeast from Prague near the town of Jičín.

The view is from the viewpoint Vyhlídka Českého ráje (=Bohemian Paradise) towards the main valley of the area. Each tower has its name, from left Big Kapucin, Monk (the one with a path leading inside of it) and Eagle/Bishop on the right.

"We had a wonderful five-night stay! The building is exceptionally well-designed and the proximity to all the major ski centers is a huge plus. Having access to a secure, closed parking space was a fantastic bonus. The spa facilities were both pristine and relaxing. Our only minor note for future guests is that the TVs do not have internet connectivity; however, we simply used our laptops to stream our favorite shows. Overall, a great experience!"
