"Very nice stay in the suite with a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately the earthquake cut our stay short, but they were so accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. What a terrifying thing for the staff to navigate - they were wonderful. I fear the hotel had significant damage and hope they will be able to reopen. "

"Pros: Front desk staff was very efficient, accommodating, and friendly. Breakfast had a lot of great options even though it was vegetarian. Location is very convenient and walkable to lots of shops/restaurants. We were in family room with 3 beds which was very nice option. Room felt old but rate was very good. Cons: couldn't open windows due to mosquitoes. "

"Had a good experience here 5 years ago but this time was a different story. Place is run down. Mold throughout the bathroom. Loose faucets and used toothpicks under the bed. Lobby smells like a sewage. "

"We were staying here during the April 3rd earthquake (7.5). The staff jumped into action to keep safe and care for all guests. We want to commend the hotel for their response in a disaster. Additionally, the hotel was nice, with good amenities. We were not too far from the main area of town. We would love to go back and stay again."

"One word - amazing! The staff is remarkable- they helped us arrange a personal driver to Taroko gorge, helped us order taxis daily but also walked out with us to communicate with the driver to make sure they understood where to go, the free bikes helped us bop around the town for free and the infinity pool on the second floor is amazing. Rooms are great and the beds are comfortable. Nicky at the front desk and Vivian the manager are specific call outs. I highly recommend!"

"Conveniently located near the Hualien train station. There are some restaurants near the train station, but not too many options. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, so keep that in mind when booking. Otherwise the room was clean and breakfast was decent. "

"This is a new and modern hotel. Our room had a full size bathtub with a view of the ocean. Truly remarkable. The only notable shortcoming was an absence of a safe box in our room."
