"The lodge is quiet!!! Our room was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and the view of the lake from our room and the lounge was wonderful. Many thanks to our hosts, Connie and Donal, who were amazing. Breakfast was the perfect start to exploring the area. We spent time on the Aran Islands and in the fishing mecca of Oughterard. Donal and Connie know the area well and offered spot on advice and insights. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Connie and Donal!!!"

"Great location in the heart of Kilkenny and next to Kilkenny Castle. Restaurants, shops, and bars were all walkable and there's a bar/restaurant downstairs if you want to stay indoors. The staff were friendly/helpful and the check-in was painless. There is a large secure parking lot behind the property.
