"Die Berglandschaft ist sehr schön. Die Zelte überhitzen sich in der Sonne sehr stark. Die Terassenüberdachung ist sehr kurz. Man findet keinen Schatten. Ein Kühlschrank oder eine Minibar ist nicht vorhanden. Die Außenplätze des Restaurants haben ebenfalls keinen Schatten. Die Möglichkeiten der Aktivitäten beschränken sich auf einen Sunrise Drive oder einen Sundowner. Der vorhandene Pool ist sehr stark gechlort. Ein mehrtägiger Aufenthalt empfiehlt sich nicht."

This is simply the most wonderful place to stay just north of the Fish River Canyon and the Namibian border. The owners are super friendly and helpful, my expectations were fully met. PLEASE do yourself a favour and book dinner there, the lamb roast is out of this world and hospitality providers like these need to be supported. Every guest gets a welcome gift of home-made rusks and braai packs as well as available for purchase. I simply cannot fault the White House Guest Farm and will surely be...

Great location obviously sitting right on the rim. Good food and wide selection of drinks. Good service. Strange you don’t get a Wi-Fi voucher for each night stay as we ran out on final night of our 2 nights. Appreciate you can buy more access but really for a hotel of this standard you should get one voucher per night. Trip into canyon worth doing, whilst it’s a full day and on some bumpy roads, to be able to get to swim and lunch near the bottom was a special experience.

We stayed here for one night. We had a lovely time there. The setting is an old bakery and this makes for a very interesting and unusual hotel where they have incorporated aspects of the old bakery. Having said that the amenities were excellent with very comfortable, clean and lovely rooms in individual bungalows. Breakfast and the evening meal were also excellent. Like many lodges in Namibia it is very isolated although it was easy to find. We also used the swimming pool which was great.

This was our second visit to Eagles Nest and this time we stayed at Eagles View Cabin. Eagles view was even better than our last cabin with an amazing view. We were surprised to find the desert in bloom with wild flowers everywhere - really beautiful. The cabin whilst rustic and a little chilly at night has everything you need for a self catering break and was very clean and comfortable. The owners and staff were very warm and welcoming. The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious with parking right outside. We really enjoy our stay here and the company of the owners at dinner and breakfast. The cook was lovely as was her food. The owner, his wife and family made this staff. A very happy memory from our visit to Namibia. Stay here and support a local family rather than a chain.

The structure is perfect, and people were lovely. Plenty of hiking trails available and some to do with mountain bike as well (available to rent at reception). The facilities were very good, very nice food at the restaurant with plenty of vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise! Only thing, the lack of electricity at the camping site (which is clearly stated, so we knew about it in advance). Otherwise I would have given 5 stars to everything!
