Brilliant overnight accommodation

We were warmly greeted and offered dinner, even though we hadn't previously booked it. The dinner was excellent. The pool was well maintained and the owners were very friendly. It is only a few metres from the B1 but was very quiet. The room was nice with aircon and fan provided. We really enjoyed our stay. Nothing was too much trouble.

An amazing farm experience

This place exceeded our expectation. The owner Andre is the most amazing host, and together with his staff made our stay very memorable. The farm is huge and has an abundance of both domestic and wild animals. We learned so much on our drives through the farm! Andre always had cool drinks in his vehicle so we could stay hydrated in hot weather - very thoughtful! There are also well marked hiking trails, and a wonderful swimming pool with clean and cool water. We booked half board and had some of the most amazing meals on our 12 day trip through Namibia and South Africa. The steak Andre grilled for us was out of this world!

Um dos melhores quartos de toda nossa estadia na Namíbia: amplo, confortável, chuveiro maravilhoso e silêncio. O jantar foi perfeito nos dois dias e o atendimento muito especial. Só tivemos problema mas foi com o Hoteis.com pois não tinham a confirmação nem para o hotel nem no meu voucher sobre a meia pensão.

Tolle Gastfreundlichkeit und sehr gutes hauseigenes Lammfleisch! Eine kleine Safari ist ein "must do"...sehr interessant! Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten.

Good place to stay. calm but close to B1 + Fish R.

It was one of our best Hotels/lodges in our trip to Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. The owner is very friendly. All the facilities needed are available (air-con, fridge, fan, Swimming pool etc.). The food (dinner) was just excellent. Highly recommended.

Our booking was ignored

We had a most unpleasant arrival at this lodge. From our experience, the rooms are much too expensive and the place does not deserve three stars. We, a family of four adults, had booked and paid for two double rooms two months in advance. Hotels.com had sent us a reminder a couple of days in advance stating that everything was OK. That did not help us much. When we arrived around 18:30, our rooms had been given away to a group of people that had not booked in advance. An internal misunderstanding, the manager explained and regretted deeply. We were offered a double room supplied with two mattresses. Since we had no alternative, we accepted, but expressed our disappointment. After a while, the manager was able to vacate an extra semi-private room. However, our sons were given a substandard double bed (our sons said it felt less than queen size), and the room where I slept, lacked basic furniture like nightstand lamps and a desk, and the shower room was not connected to water, which left us with a hand-hold shower in the bath tub. A nice and long conversation I had with the owner in the evening, revealed that she had given away our pre-booked rooms while the manager was out shopping. My advice to the owner is to stay away and leave the management of the lodge to the hired manager. My advice to the manager would be to find another workplace if the owner does not follow my advice.
