"We had a lovely stay at Bohemian Nest, our long haul flight landed early afternoon and we needed somewhere local to the airport to recharge for a night before heading onwards. Bohemian nest surpassed all our expectations and was 10/10. The breakfast itself deserves a special mention as it was so good, we went for traditional sri lankan style and it didn't disappoint. Thanks so much for our stay! "

"Decent quality 3 star hotel on negombo seafront. Nice garden facing the beach and great views of sunsets. Guests were a mixed crowd of locals and foreign tourists. Check in process was slow and inefficient. Staff seemed to struggle to process a group booking ahead of us and told us to wait. This took more than half hour. The older lady who showed us to our room incorrectly told us that there was no room service. Her younger male colleague confirmed there was room service and said he was...

"What a special place! My room was spotless and the staff were warm, kind, and attentive, and always willing to help with whatever I needed. The setting is fabulous - right on the ocean with a magnificent pool. The sea breeze was delightfully cooling as we ate delicious meals in the restaurant. The small raft was a super fun way to access the hotel when we arrived, and added to the tropical adventure atmosphere. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Gomez’s place. This place is a hidden gem and a quiet sanctuary away from the busy city. He and his staff were welcoming and very helpful, especially with helping us connect with the airline after losing our bags. He also set up a driver for us to our next location at a good price. He has owned his place for 28 years, here’s hoping for many more! "
