"Such a great retro motel! All the decorations were reminiscent of the 70s but in a super cool way. The rooms were simple bit modern. We loved this place! It was like stepping back in time when everything was just a bit simpler, more relaxed, and all around better! Will definitely stay here again!"

"This was a regretful one night experience. This wasn’t a true representation of a real Hampton. The room smelled like old wet socks, the carpet was dirty and dingy. The bathroom towels as well as bedsheets and covers reeked of old chlorine smell. Of course the pool was closed due to ‘unforeseen’ circumstances that are still yet to be explained. The breakfast was nasty and compatible to hospital food. Please post this so people won’t get the wrong impression of this place like myself due to...

"Room was clean, spacious and quiet! Staff was excellent and checkin was quick. Breakfast was good. Love the grits and that banana bread; reminded me of my grandmothers. Will definitely be back and next time I will be bringing my bathing suit. The pool looks so good and they have the lounging chairs I can relax in! My new go to for my work trips to Kinston."

"We had room 233, very clean. No bed bugs or bugs in general. Trust me, we looked with our handy dandy O'Light flashlights with UV & regular flash light. Very quiet hotel, plenty of self parking."

"If you have a really tight budget then you may choose this on your risk. Toilet had stain, room had an unbearable smell, touching furniture will give you some stickiness feel indicating they are not clean. Not recommend for people who are cleanliness and hygiene conscious."

"There were people fixing cars in the parking lot. The tubs would get clogged. No one ever came to fix it."
