"NO DOOR IN BATHROOM can be an issue. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance from the center of Puerto Viejo. However, we had an issue upon arrival. We booked a room for three adults, and the photos on Expedia clearly showed a bathroom with a door. Instead, they tried to give us a room with no door to the shower or toilet, and the beds had a direct view into the shower. This was never mentioned anywhere. "Our stay at Samasati was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was so beautiful - we saw so much wildlife and loved falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof and waking up with the birds and monkeys.
