"We have stayed at the Petwood Hotel before, in order to join a friends party. We loved it so much that I treated us to a room overlooking the garden. It was well worth the extra money, as there was a raised area with a lovely table overlooking the gardens as well as the huge size of the room itself. The history and atmospheric quality of the hotel is superb and the local area is fabulous, especially for walks or cycling. Treat yourself to Sunday lunch if you can as a fabulous pianist called...

"This manor was absolutely lovely and the perfect quiet stay for our group of 3 after leaving behind the hustle and bustle of London. The rooms were spotless, the hosts very accommodating (we had a transportation situation to figure out and the host graciously offered to call a taxi company and help figure it out for us), and the gorgeous manor and its surroundings allowed for the most charming, tranquil stay. We loved our time here and would recommend it to anyone!"
