"This is basically a family run old school bed and breakfast. Not a bad thing, but something I wish I knew before booking. The plus, it's reasonably comfortable. It's near the lake. The family is friendly. The catch is that there was a lot of kids running around and playing from about 7am to 11pm. "Did not like ground floor rooms, no view, no air, no paint on walls or carpet on floor, thin walls, very noisy 😞 Higher floor had better views and were more spacious. Restaurants had little choice, having run out of most choices we made."

"We had a great stay and paid a fair value for a beautiful room with lake and volcanos view. It is true the hotel needs some updating, specially in tje exterior pool, garden and painting. Some interior details were already updated and very nice. We loved the reading room, the poems along the walls and the corridors lights."

The only real complaint I had, which I shared at reception and they received the feedback well, was that I placed the do not disturb sign on my door before leaving for an activity during the day; I had all my belongings spread over the room and I did not have the energy or time to put them away.
