"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. "This is a very attractive hotel in a lovely setting, in the town of Montreuil-Bellay. The facilities are very good, but a restaurant for evening would be a definite bonus. However, the hotel is only a few steps from restaurants. Excellent breakfast.The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our visit."
